Website privacy notice
Last updated: 6 October 2026
Scope
This notice covers the website meridvar.com. It does not cover the MERIDVAR product. The product is installed and operated by the customer on the customer's own infrastructure, and sends no data to us.
Who is responsible
MERIDVAR is an enterprise software venture in formation. A legal entity has not yet been incorporated. This website is operated from Lisbon, Portugal by the founder, Eduardo Hadermeck, for informational and prospective customer contact purposes, and he is responsible for the personal data collected through it. This notice will be updated when the company is incorporated.
What we collect
- Demo and contact requests. Name, work email, company, job title, company size, primary interest and any message you choose to write.
- Audience statistics. We use Umami, a cookieless analytics tool, to count visits, pages viewed, referring sites, campaign tags in the link you followed, country, device type and browser, and a small set of actions such as a demo request. It sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device and does not build a profile of you. It is switched off when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
- Session recordings and heatmaps, only with your consent. If you choose Allow in the privacy prompt, Microsoft Clarity sets cookies and records how pages are used: clicks, scrolling and movement. What you type into forms is masked and never recorded. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy settings link at the foot of every page.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider processes IP addresses and request metadata to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Why, and on what basis
- To reply to your request and arrange a demonstration: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
- To keep the site secure and understand how it is used in aggregate: our legitimate interest.
- Session recordings and heatmaps: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes data on our behalf for hosting, security, form handling and email forwarding. Umami provides audience statistics. Microsoft provides Clarity, used only with your consent. Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards Cloudflare provides, including standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Request details are kept only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any relationship that follows. You may ask for them to be deleted at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and you may object to processing. You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
